I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa and a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. I am a therapist with Affiliates in Counseling in Northbrook, Illinois.
I specialize in working with the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, as well as those navigating relationship challenges and life transitions including fertility, perinatal and postpartum struggles. I incorporate a mind and body connection to help clients achieve a sense of wholeness and restore a sense of well-being.
My approach to therapy is insight-oriented and focused on creating a safe space to meet clients where they are at in their process. I believe the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist is invaluable to help clients progress. Through our collaborative work together, clients develop healthy coping skills, improve relationships and find meaning in their lives.
I am passionate about empowering and collaborating with clients on their journey to gain insight, better manage various stressors in their lives, and be grounded in their authentic selves. I work primarily with adolescents, young adults, and adults in addition to couples.
